Photos of our trip

As promised, here's just  a few of the photos - in no particular order - that I would've included in my earlier blogs if I'd been able to sort out the wonders of technology!

As I mentioned in my post, at Coen, the local pub dog adopted us:

Some of the rivers were spectacular.  This is the Archer River - taken looking under the bridge:

and from the bridge:

Crossing the Normanby River, not very deep, but this was the first of many:

The Little Annan River was hard to beat:

The road was long and straight ...

Security system on our fridges - the cowbells woke me, followed by the van shaking, but luckily the steel cable held the fridges in place - and I didn't twig to what had woken me till we learnt the next morning that someone had been through a number of cars in the camping ground.  Thank heavens for John's security system!

Coloured sands at Elim Beach:

We had to walk around 200m to The Tip, which we were able to do via the beach, as it was low tide, but coming back,   had to walk across rocks, following cairns to show the way.  John decided that one of these cairns wasn't high enough, so added his own rock:

More photos to come - it's a time-consuming process going thru all my photos!
